Wikipedia is not only just an online encyclopaedia now you can add videos to those articles.
So far Wikipedia only has text and images, now we can add videos to the articles.Videos enable a enriched knowledge about the content as it is visually understandable.
For this purpose Wikipedia formed an open video alliance to make the shared videos available in open format.
First you have to create the video in a ogg theora format which is an open source HTML 5 format (.ogg) and then share it on Wikipedia
- To create .ogg files Miro is offering a open source tool to convert the videos to .ogg format
- Firefox users can add firefogg add-on for this purpose
