Google android marketplace is now available as a online website http://market.android.com. So far the android marketplace can only be accessed from android phone and now the online version of the market is live so that you can access the apps right from your browser.
Using android market website you can log-in to your android market account ,browse the apps and install them on your phone without connecting your phone to the computer physically.Added to this the market is now socialized with the option to share the apps with your twitter friends.You can write reviews about the apps right from your browser.
The Nokia’s OVI app store has also an online website store though you cannot install them directly from your web browser you have to send the link to phone via SMS to install the application.
Android’s new online marketplace was announced at the press event to demo the honeycomb OS to the developers.
