How to:Install Gimp 2.6.11 in Ubuntu 10.10 via PPA

GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software suitable for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. How to Install:

Open the terminal and run the following commands :

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/programs-ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gimp
