More than a decade Microsoft is the leading tech company in US.But now the situation is changed Microsoft lost that position to apple .
The ranking is based on market value of the companies.Wall Street valued Apple at $222.12 billion and Microsoft at $219.18 billion.
The company that went near to extinction in 1985 is now the number one tech company in US.Three months back apple surpassed Wal-Mart to hold the third position.But now its behind the Exxon Mobil and leading one in Tech companies list.
The market value of apple rose to a peak because of the Ipad.over 450,000 ipads in US alone, where the countries outside US is yet to ship.In addition 3.5 million ipad apps,64% Mobile market share.
The market value of these two companies has very small difference which makes frequent swapping in positions.

While rival company Google has the market share $151.43 billion dollars. I think Android is yet to make a noise.
