This tutorial will illustrate how to remove shutdown and restart buttons from windows 7 . This is useful when we are conducting any event and dont want to give shutdown or restart access to users. [It may interrupt event] .
Step 1: Navigate through Start -> Run and type gpedit.msc .
Step 2:After that , Navigate through User Configuration ->Administrative templates -> Start Menu and Task bar and double click on Remove and prevent access to the Shut down ,restart ,sleep and hibernate commands .
Step 3 : Change the settings from not configured to enabled .
Step 4: That’s it done . We have removed access to the shutdown ,restart ,sleep from the user .
